Your OKRs, Wherever Your AI Works

Inspire runs on MCP (the Model Context Protocol), so the AI assistant your team already uses, whether that is Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Grok, can work directly with your live objectives, key results, check-ins, and recognition. Bring your own AI. Inspire brings the strategy.

  • Inspire has an MCP server, so it connects to any AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol, including Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok.
  • Bring your own AI: you choose the assistant, and it reads and writes your real OKRs, check-ins, and recognition inside Inspire.
  • Access is permission-scoped, fully audited, and tenant-isolated, and your data is never used to train a model.
  • You do not have to wait for a custom integration. If your AI speaks MCP, it works with Inspire today.

Most teams already have an AI assistant they trust. The question is no longer whether your team uses AI. It is whether your strategy shows up inside it. For most performance platforms the answer is no: goals live in one system, work lives in another, and the AI sits off to the side with no idea what the company is trying to do. Inspire closes that gap by running on MCP.

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the emerging standard for how AI assistants connect to the systems a business runs on. Think of it as a shared language that lets an assistant read from and write to the tools you already trust, with your permission and inside your rules. It is quickly becoming the common way AI tools plug into business software without a one-off integration for every product.

Yes. Inspire works with Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok through its MCP server. Because Inspire runs on MCP rather than a single hard-wired integration, any assistant that supports the protocol can connect. You choose the assistant your team already prefers, and it works with your real Inspire data. This is what we mean by bring your own AI.

Once Inspire is connected, your assistant works from your real strategy instead of guessing. In practice that means you can:

  • Ask “what are my objectives this quarter?” and get your actual OKRs, not a generic template.
  • Draft and refine a key result in conversation, then write it back into Inspire when it is right.
  • Complete a check-in without leaving the chat you are already in.
  • Pull the real progress and history behind a goal so a status update takes seconds instead of an afternoon.

The work happens where you already are, and Inspire stays the source of truth underneath it.

You connect your assistant to Inspire’s MCP server once, then work in natural language. At a high level: an administrator enables the MCP connection in Inspire, you add the Inspire connector to your MCP-capable assistant and sign in, and access is granted based on your existing Inspire permissions. From there you simply ask your assistant about your objectives and check-ins. No new dashboard to learn.

Yes.* Access through Inspire’s MCP server is permission-scoped with your authentication. An assistant can only see and do what the person using it is already allowed to see and do in Inspire. *However, the other half of safe adoption is governance on your side. The best practice is to have a clear policy for third-party AI tools in place for your people first. Decide the authorized tool set for your organization and set a clear policy your users follow, so access to your performance data stays on your terms.

Inspire is a performance and OKR platform built to run on MCP, so bring-your-own-AI is a core capability rather than a bolt-on. Most performance tools measure how people feel about work through surveys and sentiment scores. They do not actually know how the business runs, and many will only add an AI feature to the side of their own product. Inspire holds the richest evidence in the category: cascaded OKRs, check-in history, key result progress, one-on-one agendas, and recognition, all connected from strategy down to the daily task. MCP is what makes that evidence usable inside the AI your team already reaches for. Others measure sentiment about strategy. Inspire helps you execute it, now in whatever assistant you prefer.

If your team has already picked its AI, good. Bring it, and see what happens when it finally knows what your company is working toward.

Does Inspire have an MCP server?

Yes. Inspire provides an MCP server so any assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol can connect to your OKRs, check-ins, and recognition.

What does bring your own AI mean?

It means you are not locked into one vendor’s assistant. You choose the AI your team already uses, such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Grok, and connect it to Inspire through MCP.

Can I use ChatGPT or Copilot with my OKRs?

Yes. Any MCP-capable assistant, including ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, can read and write your Inspire OKRs and check-ins once connected, within your permissions.

Can the AI update my OKRs, or only read them?

Both. The connection is bidirectional, so a connected assistant can read your objectives and, when you approve it, write updates such as a refined key result or a completed check-in back into Inspire.

Do we need a custom integration for each AI assistant?

No. Because Inspire runs on MCP, any assistant that supports the protocol can connect without a one-off integration, so you can adopt new assistants as they emerge.
